Hi Beautiful!

It's been 8 years since my mom passed away 11/17/06.

I was 30 at the time

It was a cold day in South Florida, I know my mom would have enjoyed.

She was originally from Maryland left at 2 years old and grew up in New York, where her dad, my grandfather could pursue his career on Broadway.

My mom admired her father so much, not only for his talent on Broadway and having his own radio
show, she used to always say "I'm just like my dad, I don't ever want to grow up"

I never understood that, to this day I'm not exactly sure what she ment by it, or him for that matter. I didn't know him very well, I'd only seen him a few times, I'd talk to him on the phone when he called my Nana who lived with me while I was growing up.

He moved on without my nana to be with his partner whom he performed with on Broadway. My Nana and grandfather never divorced but spoke often till he passed in 1993 when I was a senior in high school.

My mom and dad were married for 35 years, my moms 3rd marriage, my dads 2nd. He still tells me every year how long they would have been married. This past February2nd they would have been married 43 years.

My mommy, as I always and still do call her passed way too young, she was only 64 when she passed, she couldn't wait to turn 65 so she could have health insurance, which she would have been on 12.23.06

My husband and I were holding her hands when she passed.
I remember watching her take her final breathe, we were reciting The Lords Prayer.
